Reading Daleen's book was difficult at times for me because it echoed so many of my thoughts from the past. She put in writing thoughts and feelings that I had but was too ashamed to tell even my best friend. After reading her book I spoke to other women about it and found out they too had disturbing thoughts after the birth of a child. While my own story differed in several ways, there were many times where I had to face my past in order to get through the book. I think if more women could admit to the things Daleen has written about fewer of us would feel alone and ashamed. Anyone who has a sister, daughter, or young woman in their life should pay attention to the wisdom written on the pages of this book. Kudos to the author for breaking the silence, not only in her own life but in the lives of her readers.
